Why Taupi exists
Most budgeting apps are built for other markets: they can’t read Latvian store receipts, they drown you in charts, and they demand more work than they give back. We wanted something else — an app that takes seconds a day, speaks plainly, and answers one simple question: how much can I safely spend today?
What Taupi does
- Daily budget — every morning Taupi recalculates what you can spend today, counting in your salary, fixed costs and goals.
- AI receipt scanning — photograph a receipt and every item lands in the right category automatically. Built specifically for Latvian store receipts.
- Insights — a financial health score and personalized observations about your habits.
- Goals and net worth — savings goals with real progress, and all your money in one view.
Private by default
Your data is stored in the European Union, encrypted in transit and at rest. There are no ads and no trackers, and you can export or delete your data at any time. More in the privacy policy.
Who builds Taupi
Taupi is built in Latvia by Rainers Lovkins. A small team means one simple thing: we reply to every email, and every suggestion is read by the person building the app.
